Privacy Policy

BELKALABS PTE. LTD., with its registered office at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 ("BelkaLabs," "we," "us," or "our"), provides websites, mobile applications, AI-powered creation tools, subscriptions, purchases, and related services (the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data when you use a Service that links to this Policy. Product-specific notices may supplement this Policy. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by this Policy or our Terms of Service.

For privacy questions or requests, contact apple@belkalabs.com.

1. Personal data we collect

The personal data we process depends on the Service, the features you use, your settings, and the information you provide.

Information you provide

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, user ID, login information, and authentication records.
  • Support and communications, including messages, attachments, survey responses, and feedback.
  • Purchase and subscription information, such as the product or plan purchased, amount, currency, date, status, renewal or cancellation status, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-provider references.
  • Materials you submit to a Service ("Inputs"), such as prompts, lyrics, text, names, preferences, messages, audio, music, voice recordings, images, photos, video, files, and related metadata.
  • Materials generated, edited, stored, or delivered through a Service ("Outputs"), such as songs, lyrics, audio, images, video, or other generated materials, together with generation settings and history.
  • Information about another person that you include in an Input. You must have the right to provide that information and any consent required for the requested processing.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, including device model, operating system, app version, browser type, language, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and device or advertising identifiers where enabled and permitted.
  • Usage, log, security, and performance information, including pages or screens viewed, features used, access times, clicks, generation events, diagnostic data, crash data, and fraud or abuse signals.
  • Information collected through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies used for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, attribution, and advertising measurement, depending on the Service and applicable settings or permissions.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from authentication providers when you choose a third-party login; app stores and subscription platforms; payment processors, digital-wallet providers, banks, card networks, and fraud-prevention providers; and providers supporting hosting, storage, AI generation, content delivery, analytics, attribution, email, customer support, and security. The information received depends on the service and integration involved. We may also receive information from public authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law.

2. AI Inputs and Outputs

When you use an AI-powered feature, we process the Inputs you provide and the Outputs generated in response to perform the requested generation or transformation; deliver, store, sync, replay, or help you manage the Output; provide support and troubleshoot failed generations; maintain reliability and security; detect fraud, abuse, harmful content, and violations of our Terms; and comply with law or protect rights and safety.

Inputs and Outputs may contain personal data about you or another person. Do not submit personal data, voices, likenesses, recordings, or other content unless you have the right and any required consent to do so. Processing by an AI feature does not by itself make a private Input or Output public.

Ownership and permitted use of Inputs and Outputs are governed by our Terms of Service. Privacy rights in personal data are not transferred by an ownership provision.

Promotional excerpts

We may use excerpts of User Content in advertising, social posts, reels, and demonstrations promoting BelkaLabs and the Services, subject to the promotional license and safeguards in our Terms. Private Inputs and non-public Outputs may be used for promotion only with your separate permission.

Where promotional material identifies a person or reveals personal data, the notice, consent, release, or other authorization required for that promotional use must also be obtained. Permission to generate content is not by itself permission to publicize a person's identity or imply their endorsement. Your permission covers only rights you can lawfully grant.

Authorized excerpts may become publicly visible on our websites, social accounts, app-store listings, and advertising platforms. You may withdraw permission for future promotional use by contacting apple@belkalabs.com. We will stop initiating new uses and take reasonable steps to remove or replace existing placements under our control, subject to applicable legal requirements. Copies independently reposted by others or retained in legally required advertising archives may remain outside our control. Withdrawal does not affect your access to the core Services or make prior lawful use unlawful.

3. Voice, likeness, and sensitive information

Some features accept voice recordings, facial images, or other media to provide the requested service. Depending on the feature and jurisdiction, this information may be sensitive or biometric data. An Input may also contain other sensitive personal information supplied by you.

Only submit information needed for the feature you request. Any feature-specific notice and consent required by applicable law applies in addition to this Policy. Contact us if you believe a voice, likeness, or other personal information has been submitted or used without the necessary authorization.

4. Payments and payment service providers

We accept payments through Stripe and other third-party payment service providers. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include cards, app-store billing, and digital wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Pay. Not every method is available in every Service or country.

Depending on the provider and payment flow, payment service providers may process payment credentials, contact and billing information, transaction details, and information used to authenticate payments and prevent fraud. Each provider's privacy notice explains its processing. For payments processed by Stripe, Stripe's Privacy Policy applies to Stripe's processing. Using a payment provider does not by itself identify the seller or merchant of record for a purchase; refer to the checkout and receipt.

When you choose Google Pay, Google may process payment-method, Google Account, device, transaction, and related information under its applicable terms and privacy notices. Google Pay may provide a tokenized payment credential and, depending on the checkout configuration and your selections, contact or billing information to the applicable processor or merchant. Where Google Pay is offered through Stripe or another processor, that processor performs the applicable payment-processing functions.

Depending on the provider, checkout configuration, and payment method, we may receive or access purchase and transaction information, including the product, amount, currency, payment status, date, customer and transaction references, subscription and refund status, payment-method type, contact and billing information, and limited card metadata such as brand and last four digits. The fields available differ between payment paths and between our systems and a provider's dashboard.

We use payment and transaction information to process purchases and subscriptions; provide access, credits, entitlements, receipts, and support; manage renewals, cancellations, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks; detect fraud and secure the Services; and meet tax, accounting, payment-network, and legal obligations.

Payment providers may act as our processors, independent controllers, or both, depending on the service and jurisdiction. Relevant notices include:

  • Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Payments Privacy Notice
  • Apple Privacy Policy

Google Pay and Google Play Billing are different services. If a purchase is made through an app store, that store's purchase, subscription, and privacy terms also apply. Provider and platform information shown at checkout should be reviewed before purchase.

5. How we use personal data

We use personal data, as applicable, to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;
  • create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
  • generate, process, store, and deliver requested content;
  • process purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, and customer support;
  • communicate service notices, security alerts, and marketing where permitted;
  • prepare and display authorized promotional excerpts as described in Section 2;
  • analyze performance and understand use of the Services;
  • measure advertising and attribution where enabled and lawfully permitted;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and Terms violations;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, and consent. The applicable basis depends on the purpose and context. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already performed lawfully.

6. How we disclose personal data

We may disclose personal data to:

  • providers supporting hosting, storage, content delivery, AI generation, authentication, email, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, support, and security;
  • app stores, payment processors, digital-wallet providers, banks, card networks, subscription platforms, tax providers, and fraud-prevention providers;
  • advertising-production contractors and advertising or social platforms for authorized promotional excerpts, and to the public where those excerpts are published, subject to Section 2;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and corporate affiliates with an appropriate need to know;
  • parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law;
  • authorities or other recipients where required by law, a court order, regulatory request, or legal process; and
  • recipients where disclosure is lawfully necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of BelkaLabs, users, or others.

Applicable law may give specific meanings to "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising, including some disclosures that do not involve payment. Where applicable, you may request information about such disclosures and exercise relevant opt-out rights by contacting us or using available privacy controls. The promotional license in our Terms does not authorize selling or reselling User Content as standalone assets or a content library.

7. International transfers

BelkaLabs is based in Singapore, and personal data may be processed in other countries where our users or service providers operate, including the United States. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate contractual, organizational, or technical safeguards and a lawful transfer mechanism must apply. You may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Relevant criteria include whether your account remains active, whether the data is needed to provide purchased services or maintain your content library, the nature of a support request, and applicable legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute-resolution needs.

You may request deletion through the contact details below or available in-product controls. Some information may need to be retained to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When there is no ongoing need to process information, it will be deleted or anonymized; where immediate deletion is not possible, such as in backup archives, it will be securely stored and isolated from further processing until deletion is possible.

Promotional-permission and withdrawal records may be retained where necessary to document lawful use or comply with legal obligations. Ending an advertising permission is addressed in Section 2 and our Terms. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an app-store or third-party subscription.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. You should protect your devices, email account, login credentials, and downloaded copies of Outputs. This section does not limit obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of a privacy decision. You may also have rights concerning automated decision-making, targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal data. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

To submit a request, contact apple@belkalabs.com, preferably from the email associated with your account. We may verify your identity or an authorized representative's authority before acting and will respond within applicable legal time limits. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

You may also unsubscribe from marketing through an available unsubscribe link or by contacting us; manage device permissions and available cookie controls; and manage or cancel a subscription through the platform identified at purchase. Service, security, and account-related communications may still be necessary.

You may complain to a competent data-protection authority where applicable. This may include the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission or the relevant authority in your country of residence, work, or the place of an alleged infringement. Contacting us does not prevent you from exercising that right.

11. Minors

The parental-permission and supervision requirements in our Terms apply to minors. Product-specific age restrictions and applicable legal requirements also apply. A parent or guardian's permission does not replace any verifiable consent or other protection required by law for processing a child's personal data.

If you believe a child has provided personal data unlawfully or without required authorization, contact apple@belkalabs.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, providers, or legal obligations. Additional notice of material changes will be provided where required by law. An update does not replace any separate consent required for a new processing purpose.
